Originally from New Orleans, LA, Erica’s journey into the world of floral design started at an early age, learning from the best—her mother, Minnie, a well-known floral designer in their community. From creating stunning wreaths to designing breathtaking wedding arrangements, Minnie’s artistic eye and expertise were a huge inspiration for Erica. One of Erica’s most cherished memories is watching her mother create seasonal storefront displays for a prominent department store, a testament to Minnie’s talent and influence. With years of hands-on experience in the floral world and a rich New Orleans upbringing, Erica brings a soulful touch to each floral creation. Her designs are infused with that signature Dat Nola spice, adding a vibrant and unique twist to every bouquet. Alongside her husband, a proud Brooklyn native and business partner, Erica founded Flist Florals of Georgia. As a woman-owned business in the Cherokee County area, Erica’s passion for florals and dedication to her community has been embraced by locals.
